We’re looking for a Chef De Partie to join the Butlin's team based in Skegness.

As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities in this role will be a key factor in our kitchens. You will be support the Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee the daily operation in your own section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
 
You will also maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering the health and safety regulations demonstrating these responsibilities as a behaviour standard to the Commis Chefs you will lead, train and mentor with guidance and support as needed. 

This is a 35 hour role, working to a rota of 5 days over 7 including weekends, paid fortnightly. 

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business and support the team.

Live in accommodation may be available if over 18 and relocating to the area subject to a DBS check.

Experience in a similar level role in a volume environment is essential. We would also love to hear from you if you're looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.

It would be desirable to have also passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast paced and busy kitchen environment.

About the Roles

We’re on the lookout for Commis Chefs to join us in one of the UK’s most unique Papa John’s venues—one of only two restaurant-style Papa John’s locations in the country offering a full dine-in and buffet experience. This isn’t your typical takeaway—it’s a vibrant kitchen where you’ll help deliver pizza perfection moments as part of the holiday magic.

You’ll be guaranteed 35 hours per week, working to a rota of 5 days out of 7 which will include weekends. 

Our shifts require flexibility, they range from early starts at 7am to late finishes - especially when you're scheduled in our Papa John's pizza van, which stays open until 4am on our Big Weekenders. 

Don't worry though, you wont always be in the van! Your role will include a mix of shifts across both the restaurant and the van, giving you variety and the chance to work in different parts of the team.

And if you’re relocating, live-in accommodation may be available to help you settle in quickly and comfortably, subject to a DBS check.

About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Skegness.  

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and support in leading a large team of amazing chefs. As well a stepping up in the Kitchen Managers absence. 

You will be passionate about exceptional experience and will monitor this regularly to develop action plans in your venue with a focus on continuous improvement. Have great leadership skills to support and grow your team, with daily briefings, handle stock controlling and review the presentation of food. 

Financial performance will play an important part in your role, and you will deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification. You will also support in the accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety, inline with legislation and company policies. 

You will be a role model for the Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans are in place for your team and inspiring them to deliver a great experience to guests every time. This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain experience in more than just one department and have a variety that no other role can offer, and you will be remunerated accordingly.

Previous experience in a security-related role would be desirable; however, you must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor License & valid UK driving license.

About the role

The Venue Cleaning Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of the cleaning shift of our public areas and entertainment venue across the resort. 

Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, the Accommodation & Cleaning Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that team are in the right place at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demand whilst keeping operational standards and guest experience high.  

Leading and monitoring team member who clean our entertainment venues once shows have finished, all toilet facilities across the resorts, moving and resetting venue furniture, working at heights at times for high-level cleaning using industrial cleaning equipment for all indoor and outdoor requirements. 

You will support and coach the team to ensure they deliver a great experience and are also driving any key metrics relating to our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach to our accommodation and holding team to account to ensure standards are met. 

We're looking for someone who can ensure the delivery of our cleaning standards while driving improvements in both Guest and Employee NPS. You'll be responsible for conducting quality control checks and leading feedback conversations. Additionally, you'll manage effectively to execute the Right People, Right Place, Right Time (RPRPRT) strategy.

This permanent role covers 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends with late shift pattern of 5.30pm - 2am. 

You will oversee a successful cleaning operation during your shift, ensuring strict adherence to our CAFF standards. You will stay informed about NPS scores within your department and take proactive steps to improve these scores and reduce guest complaints.

Your responsibilities include conducting online quality control checks, analysing reports, and leading feedback discussions. You will also ensure that your team receives the necessary training and support.

You will manage the implementation of the initial 90-day program for new team members and oversee all personnel-related activities, from onboarding through the full employee life cycle, including PDPs, performance management, and formal HR processes.

Setting clear objectives and PDPs for your team, supporting team surveys, leading action plans, upholding brand standards, and ensuring your team meets health and safety regulations are also key aspects of your role.

About the Role
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Carpenter to join our Facilities teaam.

Whether you’ve been working in the trade for years or you’ve just completed a relevant college course and are ready to take on your first role, we’re open to welcoming someone who’s keen to learn, grow, and get stuck in.

In this role, you’ll support the Facilities leadership team with a wide range of carpentry tasks across the resort. From hanging doors and repairing fixtures to basic woodwork and general upkeep, your work will help keep our spaces safe, functional, and looking their best.

 You’ll be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, sometimes working independently and other times alongside internal teams or external contractors.

Any tools or equipment you need for the job will be provided — so you can focus on doing great work without worrying about the kit.

Working hours follow a five-day pattern across a seven-day rota, typically 8:00am to 3:30pm. 

Every seven weeks, you’ll also do one weekend shift and one late evening (2:30pm to 10:00pm), giving you a good mix of routine and flexibility.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident using tools, has experience in hanging doors ,stud work, dry lining and fitting kitchen worktops. You will need to understand the importance of health and safety, and takes pride in doing things properly. 

You’ll need to be able to communicate well with others, and bring a positive, professional approach to your work — whether you’re working solo or as part of the team.
