The role:   

We are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Baston House school 

Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree 
  • Valid and up to date HCPC Registration 
  • Registered member of RCSLT

The role:   

We are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Baston House school 

Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Essential Criteria:   

  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree 
  • Valid and up to date HCPC Registration 
  • Registered member of RCSLT 
  • At least 5 + yrs practicing experience working at the specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge and clinical understanding underpinned by theory and practical experience
  • Experienced in multi-disciplinary working across a range of settings, with some responsibility for service & team performance
  • Highly experienced in communicating with and working with families/relatives and carers
  • Highly experienced in developing training and in person presentations
  • Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
  • Highly experienced in taking part in research projects and conducting audits
  • Skills Essential Desirable Exceptional relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Advanced knowledge and highly experienced in the core areas of SaLT practice and clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Natural Resources team, working on projects in the Thames Valley region (North). In this role you will support various projects on the Thames Water WAAP Programme and help deliver the requirements of the individual project to both above and below ground assets, on our Horton-cum-Studley and Princess Risborough waste water sites.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. In this role you'll play a key role in supporting the engineering and technical coordination of site works, ensuring that construction activities are delivered in line with design intent, project objectives, and regulatory standards. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design and construction, providing engineering leadership across the Thames Water wastewater portfolio within the Thames Valley.

Your day to day will include:

Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.

  • Interpreting design documentation and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
  • Supporting construction teams with technical queries, resolving design conflicts, and driving value engineering initiatives.
  • Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements and programme.
  • Monitoring and recording construction progress and providing accurate technical input to support project reporting and planning.


What are we looking for?


This Section Engineer is great for you if you have:

  • Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline and a CSCS and SMSTS Card holder.
  • Experience within a civil engineering or construction environment and with demonstrable experience in the Water sector.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Job Description

We're looking for a DSEAR Lead to join our Natural Resources team working, working on our Thames Water Framework.

Location : Hybrid working from home, offices and sites across the Thames Water patch


Hours : Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced DSEAR Lead to join our Natural Resources team on our Thames Water Framework. In this role you'll lead the planning, oversight, and quality assurance of electrical and mechanical asset inspections under the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR). You'll work closely with internal engineers and external contractors to deliver compliant, risk-managed solutions. On this framework we deliver design & build services for new and existing Infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-Infrastructure assets (above ground).

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing a team of DSEAR Engineers and contractors to deliver asset inspections and remedial works.
  • Auditing and reviewing risk assessments and inspection reports to ensure legal compliance.
  • Leading on DSEAR-related training and development strategies.
  • Overseeing the specification and acceptance of EX-rated electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Production and development of Kiers DSEAR in region processes and the timely closure of actions generated from safety, quality and environmental audits.


What are we looking for?


This DSEAR Lead role is great for you if you have:

  • Experience managing a team of DSEAR Engineers and contractors to deliver asset inspections and remedial works.
  • Proven involvement in leading on DSEAR-related training and development strategies.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
