Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).

If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join #teamOFG!

Job Title:  Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

Location:  Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB

Contract:  Permanent, Term Time Only

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified HLTA who is passionate about education and motivated to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex and varied needs, including autism and associated learning differences.

In this role, you will:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has achieved Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status
  • Has previous experience working within an SEN/ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) setting
  • Is calm, confident, and resilient in the face of challenges
  • Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider education team
  • Is confident leading lessons or small groups when required
  • Is committed to empowering every pupil to reach their full potential

At Baston House School, we are committed to creating a nurturing, respectful environment where our pupils feel heard, supported, and inspired to thrive.
