About the role
Joining us as a Deputy Depot Night Manager you’ll manage one of the shift operations in the depot reporting into the Depot Manager and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of newspapers and magazines out to our retailers.
This interesting and challenging role in our management team will see you ensuring a planned and effective night operation is in place, taking responsibility for:
- Supervising all staff. Providing training and coaching and identifying training needs
- Providing accurate reports that highlight any challenges or successes
- Working closely with the management team to identify potential risks
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety at all times
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and company policy
- Working to an annual set budget and forecast

About You:
You’ll have a track record of success in a warehouse environment in a management position. You’ll also be able to evidence:
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Managing a large operation and being able to liaise at all levels
- Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management
- Experience of planning and effectively executing a night operation. Dealing with all issues and challenges as they arise
- Tenacity and an effective approach to meeting and exceeding targets and delivering an outstanding client experience
- Computer literacy and confidence in the use of technology and IT systems, including a high degree of knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent business acumen and strong commercial and financial awareness

Role Overview
Our client is growing fast, and this is an exciting time to join them. They are recruiting a driven salesperson to achieve the next stage of expansion. The sales team is the engine that drives their investments business, and this new target-driven role will help increase their client base, revenue pipeline and meet their ambitious sales targets.
This role involves overseeing the first half of the sales cycle, from lead generation and calling warm leads, evaluating leads, building relationships, and booking qualified leads into their closers’ diaries. They are seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, someone who thrives in a sales and target-driven environment, with previous experience. You'll be determined, driven, and resilient.
The Package:
- Basic salary per annum: £24,00 – £2 000, depending on experience.
- OTE of 5,000 – £5 000 through uncapped commission.

What You'll Be Doing
This sales role that involves full-cycle sales responsibility:
- Generating your own leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and other outreach.
- Qualifying prospects.
- Building rapport and managing your own pipeline.
- Closing clients onto one of our client’s property investment packages.
Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Researching and identifying potential clients (property investors).
- Calling, emailing and messaging prospects to generate interest.
- Qualifying leads against clear criteria.
- Booking viable, high-quality appointments into their closers’ diaries.
