In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that no patient in need goes without, by supporting our warehouse operations with excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Goods In: Receive deliveries from our manufacturing facilities and third-party suppliers. Check for accuracy and condition while reporting any discrepancies, followed by proper recording in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Order Picking: Promptly pick customer orders, ensuring accuracy by following FIFO (First in First Out) and traceability guidelines. You'll gain a solid understanding of our product families through internal training.
- Packing & Despatch: Pack customer orders carefully and accurately to prevent damage during transit, aiming to ship most orders the same day!
- Loan & Demo Stock: Efficiently manage the picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of evaluation and exhibition equipment, along with free-of-charge samples.
- Cycle Counting: Help maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counting, contributing to our team's KPI targets.
- Returns Processing: Collaborate with our Customer Services team to manage and process customer returns seamlessly.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
- GCSE grade C/5 in Maths and English.
- Physical ability to assist with moving goods.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP).
- Forklift licence holder.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
