Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and finalisation of statutory financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare management accounts, including detailed financial performance reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal financial controls and policies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on technical accounting matters and professional development.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional bodies.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and Companies Act regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrable experience in financial statement preparation and management reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
