Opportunity Overview
The School of Health and Society is seeking an ambitious individual to join our dynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy team. We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to join us as a Teaching and Learning Fellow in Counselling and Psychotherapy to support our very successful UG programmes. This fixed term 0.4 FTE role will support the learning, teaching and research of the subject group. There will also be an expectation to undertake project supervision, and personal tutoring. This is ideal for somebody with practice experience in counselling and psychotherapy who is interested in developing their knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning in a higher education context.

Requirements
Teaching and Learning
- Deliver engaging teaching in lectures, tutorials, and via the VLE.
- Lead modules in alignment with validated course specifications.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Institutional Contribution

Essential
- Degree or equivalent in a creative arts or industry-related field.
- Significant teaching experience in Higher Education.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching and student support.
- Knowledge of relevant research methodologies.
- Experience in the Film/TV industry. Must have experience in one or more of the following areas: Cinematography, Producing, Production Management, Sound or Directing
- Up-to-date with discipline-specific trends and pedagogical practices.
Desirable
- Doctorate in a relevant field.
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with private education environments.
- Broad understanding of Higher Education sector challenges.

Role Details
Salary: Based on experience
This is a 0.6 FTE fractional post (equivalent to three days per week)
