The role
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a desire for a career in accountancy and wants to gain exposure to 'real' work and responsibilities from day one.
Whilst in the role you will also study towards your ACCA qualification, with all training, exams, study leave and professional subscriptions fully funded by us.
You will get first hand exposure to all the fundamental elements of accountancy such as bookkeeping, self assessment tax returns, payroll, pensions, CIS, VAT and company accounts.
You will carry out work on a variety of cloud based software such as QuickBooks and Xero and be responsible for the implementation and integration of various 'bolt-on' Apps, all with a view to delivering bespoke solutions to meet your client's individual needs.
You will receive hands-on, attentive training which will allow you to develop your knowledge and skills quickly within the role. You will be given the responsibility to design your own processes with a view to creating efficiencies within the practice.
As a smaller practice, you will learn and be directly involved in what it takes to run an accountancy practice and a business generally, an opportunity that very few other firms will be able to offer.
As you develop these skills, you will be able to assist clients with not only accounting and tax advice, but also business advice as your knowledge grows.
Training
We are an ACCA Platinum Approved Employer –the highest level ACCA bestow. This is because we provide the highest level of training to our team to help them reach their full potential.
We offer a premium service to our clients and therefore we need premium accountants to provide that service. That means investing all the time necessary in you to ensure you become that cut above the rest.
This role comes with fully funded support and training towards your ACCA qualification, with all training, exams, study leave and professional subscriptions funded by us.
You will also be mentored through the whole ACCA qualification journey, so you're never on your own.

Entry level requirements
University graduate, AAT qualified or experience working within an accountancy practice.
Ideally candidate will be located within 30 minutes of Shoreham By Sea.
