In this role, you will be part of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group working closely with Accenture Client Leadership to identify and drive Microsoft-based digital transformation opportunities within their client accounts. Your focus will be on originating and leading Accenture's sales efforts around the Microsoft ecosystem and growing within these established client relationships.
In support of our continued growth, we are looking for an Avanade Client Account Lead to capitalize on our capabilities. Our goal is to originate and grow our core business by driving a collaborative growth strategy and supporting Accenture's sales and revenue targets. As Avanade Client Account Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these objectives are met.
This role has an industry focus within Resources. This includes but is not limited to clients in the sectors for energy, utilities, oil and gas.

What you'll do:

They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current role. Our client, a prestigious management consultancy, is seeking an accomplished Principal Strategy Consultant to join their dynamic practice. This role is integral to advising senior leadership teams of major corporations on critical strategic challenges, driving significant business growth and transformation. You will be responsible for leading client engagements from inception to completion, developing innovative strategies, and delivering actionable recommendations that create sustainable value. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise in one or more sectors, coupled with a profound understanding of strategic frameworks, market analysis, and competitive positioning. Your responsibilities will include developing proposals, managing project teams, conducting in-depth research and analysis, and presenting findings and recommendations to C-suite executives. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage strategic consulting engagements for major clients.

  • Identify key strategic challenges and opportunities for clients.
  • Develop business cases and implementation roadmaps.
  • Mentor and guide junior consulting staff.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to senior executives.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership within the firm.
  • Ensure the highest quality of client deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in leading client engagements and delivering strategic solutions.
  • Deep industry knowledge in at least one key sector (e.g., Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare).
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in strategic frameworks, market analysis, and business modeling.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution is highly preferred.
This role is based in London, England, UK , offering a hybrid working model that combines client-site work with flexible remote arrangements.
