Support colleagues daily by resolving queries, sharing knowledge, and being available for discussions due to the varied nature of claims. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external parties such as Coroners, solicitors, IFAs, employers, and other stakeholders involved in the claims process. What we’re looking for: Good knowledge of Financial Services, Workplace Pensions, Master trusts and the regulatory requirements of Automatic Enrolment. Basic understanding of what a bereavement/terminal illness is, to have the knowledge of basic terms within this journey and to have a strong natural ability to deal with emotional situations/conversations. Good organisational and time management skills. Help facilitate and follow up on the payment and settlement of claims for clients with underwriters


Coordinate discussions, meetings and technical support to facilitate a superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the handling and settlement of claims


Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment


Liaison with other teams as necessary to ensure sharing of relevant information and any other tasks that Aon and your line manager might reasonably require

This role plays a crucial part in handling and resolving claims efficiently and fairly while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a variety of Casualty claims from initiation to resolution
  • Investigate policy coverage, liability, and quantum
  • Set and review reserves and strategies throughout the claim lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough file records and uphold excellent client service standards
  • Support internal audit and reporting requirements
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and research in support of claims strategies

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Casualty classes within the London Market
