About the role:
As an Account Manager at Volt, you’ll be the strategic partner for some of our most valuable merchant relationships. Your mission? Strengthen connections, identify untapped potential, and turn it into measurable growth.
You’ll blend commercial acumen with deep industry knowledge - particularly in high-growth, highly regulated verticals like iGaming and Crypto - to anticipate market shifts, interpret regulatory changes, and identify opportunities for expansion.
This role is both analytical and people-focused: you’ll use data-driven insights to inform strategy, while building strong, trust-based relationships through regular engagement, networking, and in-person interactions. Expect frequent European travel and client entertaining as part of delivering a truly world-class merchant experience.
What the role involves:
- Merchant Relationship Management - Own the day-to-day relationships with your merchant portfolio, becoming their primary point of contact and trusted advisor
- Revenue Growth - Proactively identify and execute opportunities for deeper product adoption, increased transaction volume, and commercial expansion
- Data-Driven Strategy - Use performance analytics, conversion data, and industry benchmarks to craft actionable recommendations that deliver results
- Industry Expertise - Stay ahead of trends in iGaming, crypto, and payments, including navigating regulatory changes and emerging market dynamics
- Networking & Representation - Represent Volt at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and uncover new growth opportunities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with product, tech, compliance, legal, and finance teams to align merchant needs with Volt’s capabilities and roadmap
Requirements
About you
- You’re a proactive and curious learner who thrives in ownership-driven environments
- 4+ years’ experience in account management, customer success, or partnerships in payments, fintech or related industries
- Previous exposure in iGaming or crypto
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in a client-facing role
- Skilled in interpreting data and analytics to inform strategic decisions
- Strong communicator with excellent networking and relationship-building skills across functions and seniority levels
- Comfortable with frequent travel and client entertaining
- Commercially aware, proactive, and confident in identifying and acting on new opportunities

Summary

- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets of 1M+ and closing six-figure deals (200K+) in complex sales cycles.
- Experience selling to senior leaders, including C-Suite, technology executives, and talent leaders.
- Strong hunter skills with demonstrated success in securing new logos, business development, prospecting, and pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience utilizing MEDDPICC or similar value-based selling frameworks.
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience (EdTech background is a plus).
