On behalf of our client, a national flagship housebuilder we are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their team on site in Truro. You will be based at the main site offices in Truro, residents are in situ along with the programme of new build construction still underway. You will report direct to the site project team

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, must have customer liaison experience either on new build housing or through housing association or local council residential liaison roles

As the RLO you will act as the main point of contact between the site team and the residents to ensure clear and effective communication, manage expectations, address concerns, and help minimise disruption during the project.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Communication: Keeping residents informed about project timelines, scope, and potential disruptions
  • Problem-solving: Addressing resident complaints and concerns, working towards quick and efficient solutions.
  • Coordination: Coordinating access to homes for contractors, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Relationship building: Fostering a positive relationship between residents and the project team and engaging regularly with residents to foster community
  • Documentation: Maintaining records of resident feedback, meetings, and other relevant information.

This contract is for a minimum 6 months, but likely to continue beyond this.

  • Manage and expand relationships with leading Fine Wine & Whisky brokers and merchants, including
    Berry Bros & Rudd, Justerini & Brooks, Goedhuis & Co, Bordeaux Index, Corney & Barrow, Fine + Rare, and Burns & German
    .
  • Deliver account growth through joint business planning, tailored activations, tastings, and premium client events.
  • Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy for the broker channel, aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Partner with internal teams across marketing, sales, and operations to ensure flawless execution.
  • Identify and recruit new broker and merchant partners, opening fresh opportunities in the specialist channel.
  • Act as a polished and credible brand ambassador, representing both wine and whisky with expertise and style.

What We're Looking For

  • Non-negotiable:
    Proven experience selling into the specialist broker and merchant channel, with strong existing relationships.
  • Background may be wine-led, spirits-led, or ideally both — but must demonstrate credibility across premium drinks.
  • WSET Level 3 minimum; higher-level qualifications (Diploma, CMS) advantageous.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to design and deliver effective account plans, manage budgets, and forecast accurately.
  • Confident leading tastings, private dinners, and trade events with HNW clients.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a hybrid/field-based environment.

Salary:
£58,000 – £65,000 + Benefits

The Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced and driven
Account Manager
to join our Sales Services team, focused on building lasting relationships with our enterprise customers across a wide range of industries.

In this role, you'll take ownership of strategic customer accounts, working closely with them to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and drive Consultancy, AMS, and Software revenue. You'll act as a trusted advisor, using your expertise in supply chain and technology to support their goals and help maximise the value of The Config Team's services.

Essential:

  • Experience in software or supply chain sales
  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and large enterprise accounts
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and technology
  • Confident in building credibility with C-suite, procurement, IT and operations teams
  • A passion for solving business problems using IT and innovation
  • A collaborative team player who's commercially astute and results-focused

Highly Advantageous:

  • Experience with Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, ERP, SAP, or similar enterprise software solutions
  • Background in managing SaaS customers within Manufacturing, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries
  • Track record of achieving account growth targets and customer retention KPIs
  • Experience with account planning, customer success methodologies, and value realization frameworks
  • Understanding of software implementation processes and customer onboarding journeys
