Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative outdoor adventure programs, including hiking, cycling, kayaking, and climbing expeditions.
- Develop comprehensive risk assessments and safety protocols for all activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage budgets, secure necessary permits, and coordinate logistics for events and trips.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of outdoor activity instructors and volunteers, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, outdoor activity providers, and community groups to enhance program offerings.
- Conduct regular evaluations of programs, gather feedback, and implement improvements to meet evolving participant needs.
- Create compelling marketing materials and promotional content to attract participants and promote engagement.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in outdoor education and adventure tourism.
- Handle all administrative tasks associated with program management, including scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Proven experience in planning and leading outdoor expeditions and activities, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Certification in relevant outdoor disciplines (e.g., First Aid, Mountain Leader, Paddlesport Instructor) is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to promoting environmental stewardship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating initiative and self-discipline.
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools and platforms is essential for this remote role.

Blue Arrow is delighted to be hiring a Visitor Centre Tour Guide on behalf of our well known client based in Elgin!
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Job type: Ongoing Temporary
Hours of work: 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekend work
Your responsibilities as a Visitor Tour Guide will include….
Providing a professional and courteous welcome to visitors.
Delivering tours of the facilities and warehouses.
Promoting the sale of products and branded items.
Preparing and serving hot drinks & alcoholic beverages.
Ensuring the workplace is clean at all times.
What our client is looking for in a Visitor Tour Guide…
A minimum of two years of face-to-face customer service or retail experience is required.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Knowledge of whisky is advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
