Key Responsibilities:

We’re supporting a Sheffield-based aerospace manufacturer in hiring a full-time Engineering Painter. The role involves prepping and painting complex components to meet exacting standards. You’ll need a steady hand, good technical knowledge, and a keen eye for quality. This is about getting the detail right and taking pride in what you produce.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team who work to strict standards but back each other to get the job done properly. The environment is clean, well-run and focused on quality over quantity.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Surface prep using abrasive, vapour and grit blasting.
  • Applying coatings and finishes to aerospace parts in line with PQPs and route cards.
  • Spraying parts to exact tolerances and technical specifications.
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures and structured daily routines.
  • Keeping records up to date and reporting any non-conformances.
  • Using PPE and maintaining a safe, clean work area.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Working alongside other departments to meet quality and delivery targets.
What we’re looking for:
  • Either apprenticeship trained or significant hands-on industry experience.
  • A solid background in aerospace or precision manufacturing is ideal.
  • Able to read and interpret SOPs, technical drawings and process sheets.
  • Skilled in manual finishing and coating methods.
  • Quality-focused with a steady, methodical approach.
  • Good team player who takes responsibility for their own work.
  • Familiarity with NADCAP and AS9100 standards.

We have an opportunity for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role you will be performing calculations, finite element analysis and optimizations of car structures at the assembly and component level. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team.   • Support your allocated design group by performing analyses and optimizations to achieve weight efficient robust designs
  • Prepare reports of the work you have done to present at design reviews and for future reference
  • Liaise with other FEA engineers to enhance efficiency and accuracy of Analyses across the FEA group
  • Scrutinize load cases for design and analysis purposes
  • Supervise and mentor graduate FEA Engineers within your allocated design group

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in FEA, ideally with the Altaire suite of products

  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
