An exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Visual Effects Artist has arisen at a prestigious animation and visual effects studio based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK . We are looking for a creative and technically skilled individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to high-profile film and television projects. As a Senior VFX Artist, you will be responsible for creating stunning visual effects, from concept to final compositing, employing a wide range of industry-standard software and techniques. Your work will involve asset creation, particle effects, simulations, lighting, rendering, and compositing, bringing imaginative worlds and characters to life. You will collaborate closely with directors, art directors, and other artists to achieve the desired artistic vision, ensuring seamless integration of visual effects into live-action footage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional artistic talent, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling. You should be adept at problem-solving, efficient in your workflow, and capable of mentoring junior artists. Experience with industry-standard VFX software such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke, After Effects, and renderers like V-Ray or Arnold is essential. - Proven experience as a Senior Visual Effects Artist or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D and 3D VFX.
- Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke, After Effects).
- Experience with particle systems, simulations, and rendering.
