We are currently seeking a dynamic, collaborative and driven Agile Delivery Lead to oversee agile development projects as well as leading the agile delivery function in line with strategic direction. The Agile Delivery Lead oversees projects that follow agile methodology governing delivery from requirements inception all the way into and including production being a buffer between the business and the agile delivery teams.

Alongside this the Agile Delivery Lead will play a key part in constructing an Agile Delivery framework fit for the business as well as being a key leader in the transition to this framework.

Please note candidates must be within commuting distance of our Weybridge office as you will operate in a hybrid setting, 2 days onsite - 3 days WFH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and assisting the Product Owners, especially with respect to refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of resource and expertise is in place and that this is structured in the most effective way to deliver the strategy.
  • Advocate for Agile principles and practices, leading teams in the adoption of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and ensuring consistent implementation across projects
  • Guiding the teams and organisation on how to use Agile practices and values
  • Guiding the teams on how to get the most out of self-organisation
  • Removing impediments or guiding the teams to remove impediments by finding the right solution or person to remove the impediment
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Work with Change Management to schedule release of your teams work
  • Create rollout plans for work delivered across production & non-production environments
  • Define and track relevant project metrics, providing regular and accurate updates on project status, risks, and performance to stakeholders and leadership
  • Input into Programme level updates feeding into SLT
  • Managing 3rd parties that form part of agile delivery team
  • Work with Tech team to manage and prioritise technical debt & NFR’s
  • Track teams delivery quality accounting for bug rates and issues found in E2E environments
  • Understand path to production and work to ensure changes are released into production
  • Ensuring the team follow Engineering best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, Code Quality, Unit Testing…
  • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle
  • Constructing an Agile Delivery framework & leading transition to it
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize features, and create actionable plans that align with business objectives

Requirements

  • Must have significant relevant experience in IT Delivery Roles, including experience in 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise environment
  • Experience in delivering projects E2E from requirements inception through to production
  • Experience in Projection Management practices that lend themselves to Agile WoW
  • Experience in managing production releases, working with partner and digging into runbooks as and when needed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft stacks
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a DevOps / Continuous Delivery framework through the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Previous experience of implementing and rolling out Agile within an organisation
  • Experience of onboarding suppliers/partners/business areas into the scrum/agile methodology
  • Experience of managing external and internal parties as combined scrum teams
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
  • Experience of digital platform delivery through agile ways of working
  • Experience of using Jira/Confluence
  • Reporting delivery progress up to SLT
  • Willing and able to travel in the UK and occasionally internationally as required.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle stacks
  • Experience of QA and testing methods
  • Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, FDD, etc…
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Experience of working with large scale ERP technology integration
  • Experience as a Development Manager
  • Technical background in Web/Cloud Development
  • Experience as a Project Manager or similar role

You will:
* Oversee end-to-end delivery of minor refurbishment projects, from initial brief to completion.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
* Prepare project scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor performance against targets.
* Ensure all refurb works comply with health & safety regulations and building standards.
* Manage site access, permits, and coordination of trades during works.
* Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation including project reports, risk assessments, and change orders.
* Support procurement of materials and services in line with company policy.

An expanding main contractor with an enviable repeat order book is looking to recruit a Project Manager for a 17m part refurb part new build care homecontract in the south-west M25 area.

As Project Manager you will be supported by a Site Manager and be responsible for all on-site activities plus client liaison so you must therefore have worked in a similar role with a main contractor on traditional and D&B new-build contracts, ideally care home or other multi room projects.

ABOUT YOU

  • Progressive career to date with recognised main contractors
  • Project Manager experience on new-build contracts 15m+
  • Traditional and D&B experience
  • Ideally some RC frame experience
  • Desire to have a progressive career with a caring employer

Our client are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager (Civils or Mechanical Bias) to join the team, working closely with major clients including Southern Water, Thames Water, and other Tier 1 construction partners. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle within the water sector, managing a variety of projects that differ in scale and complexity. You will lead a dedicated team of technical professionals focused on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the clients’ expectations.
  
About the Role:
As a Project Manager, having prior knowledge of the wastewater industry and experience within the construction sector is essential. Our client are looking for someone with a practical, adaptable mindset who embraces innovation and is eager to help bring forward-thinking technologies to life.
  
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in project management within the water sector. Candidates who are stepping up from a Project Engineer position can be considered.
  • An overall MEICA understanding would be advantageous, however the majority of work will be mechanical & civils biased
  • A candidate with previous experience managing multiple schemes simultaneously would be of interest, often high volume but smaller project values.
  • Understanding of wastewater systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Proficient in using IT systems and tools
Core Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients
  • Conducting site surveys
  • Managing tender processes
  • Contributing to design stages
  • Handling procurement tasks
  • Overseeing planning and project execution
  • Preparing final project documentation and handovers
  • Site visits and travel will be a requirement of this role.
  • Company vehicle will be provided for all site travel
