The Opportunity


We’re seeking an Agile Delivery Manager with deep experience driving systems change within complex insurance environments, across the Lloyd’s and Specialty markets.


This is a high-impact opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team through an ambitious digital transformation programme with significant executive visibility.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a bespoke Underwriting Workbench platform, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology execution, and delivery timelines.
  • Champion Agile methodologies, fostering a collaborative, outcome-driven culture across business, technology, and offshore development teams.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, managing dependencies across CRM, workflow, data, and AI integration components.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and delivery reporting to maintain transparency and momentum.
  • Partner with Underwriting, Operations, and IT leadership to remove blockers, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure disciplined stakeholder engagement and communication across a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and engagement, avoiding a “ticket-only” delivery mentality by encouraging ownership and creative problem-solving within remote teams.


Experience & Skills Required


  • Proven track record of delivering complex systems transformation within the Insurance sector, Specialty or Lloyd’s Market.
  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practical experience embedding Agile practices in multi-team environments.
  • Strong background in insurance technology delivery, such as underwriting, policy administration, or claims transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate change effectively.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including offshore development resources.
  • Exposure to AI-driven automation or data intelligence projects is advantageous.
  • Strategic mindset with a delivery-first approach, capable of balancing tactical execution with long-term vision alignment.


This is an initial 6 month contract - Outside IR35 - hybrid working with a team who are in London 3 days per week.
