Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Agile Project Manager, with a strong focus on Scrum Master principles, to lead critical software development projects within a dynamic, fully remote team. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive product innovation and foster an agile culture across the organization. You will be responsible for guiding multiple Scrum teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agile methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor Scrum teams to adopt and improve agile practices and principles.
  • Identify, track, and facilitate the removal of impediments that hinder team progress.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure clear and well-defined product backlogs.
  • Promote a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
  • Track team progress using agile metrics and visualize progress through burn-down charts and other tools.
  • Shield the team from external distractions and unnecessary interruptions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the agile teams.
  • Assist in managing project scope, timelines, and resource allocation where applicable within the agile framework.
  • Communicate project status and key metrics to stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years specifically focused on agile methodologies and Scrum Master roles.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required.
  • Experience leading multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, and remove impediments effectively.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
  • This is a fully remote role. While our headquarters are in **London, England, UK**, your work location can be anywhere within the UK. We champion diversity and inclusion within our remote workforce.
