Your responsibilities will include analyzing farm data, developing customized strategies for input management (fertilizers, pesticides, water), and optimizing crop performance. You will provide training and ongoing support to clients, ensuring they can effectively utilize the technology to achieve their goals. Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their specific farming needs will be crucial.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in agricultural science and technology. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have at least 4 years of experience in precision agriculture, agronomy, or a related advisory role. Hands-on experience with precision farming equipment, farm management software (e.g., John Deere Operations Center, Climate FieldView), and data analysis tools is essential. Knowledge of crop physiology, soil science, and sustainable farming practices is also important. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are vital for effective remote client interaction and advisory services. The ability to translate complex technical information into practical advice for farmers is a key requirement. You should be comfortable working independently and managing your workload effectively in a remote setting.
