An exciting opportunity for a talented AI DevOps Engineer, you will focused on looking at areas where AI can add improvements, as everything is being custom built rather than off the shelf

As an AI DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and managing scalable, secure infrastructure for our multi-agent AI orchestration platform. This is an opportunity to join a high functioning relaxed team that will significantly contribute to the digital transformation

What are the key expectations of this role?

  • This role involves working across multiple Azure regions (UK South, Sweden Central, East US) to ensure high availability, secure deployments, and efficient agent orchestration using AKS.
  • You will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure services, Semantic Kernel agents, manage Kubernetes clusters, and integrate observability tools to monitor system health and performance.
  • You'll also ensure alignment with enterprise-grade security practices, including zero trust principles, identity-aware routing, and integration with Azure API Management and Application Gateway.

We seek highly multifaceted skilled individuals with expertise in Fixed Income modeling, interest rate theory, credit risk, or advanced statistical/machine learning techniques.



**You'll have the opportunity to:**


Design, build and evaluate statistical and Machine Learning models that directly influence how global markets price fixed income assets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, monitor and maintain robust production systems.
Design new architectures, systems and tools to power next-generation pricing capabilities of Bloomberg.
Integrate cutting-edge academic and industry research into models and methodologies, staying ahead of emerging developments to drive continuous innovation.
Represent Bloomberg at scientific and industry conferences, and publish research findings through documentation, whitepapers, or in leading academic journals and conferences.



**You'll need to have:**


Previous relevant work experience with Machine Learning or Statistical Modeling techniques in the financial industry, ideally around asset valuation. A track record designing, building, evaluating, and maintaining statistical or Machine Learning solutions in production is a plus.
Ph.D. or M.Sc. with equivalent research experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
Thriving in solving challenging, often ill-defined problems where off-the-shelf solutions fall short, and bring a creative, rigorous approach to developing novel methods and technologies.
Proficiency in software engineering with an understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering peers as well as non-engineering stakeholders.
A track record of authoring publications in top conferences and journals is a strong plus.

We are investing in AI to build better search, discovery, and workflow solutions using technologies such as transformers, gradient boosted decision trees, large language models, and dense vector databases. We are expanding our group and seeking highly skilled individuals who will be responsible for contributing to the team (or teams) of Machine Learning (ML) and Software Engineers that are bringing innovative solutions to AI-driven customer-facing products.

We are looking for Senior ML Platform Engineers with strong expertise and passion for building platforms for (Gen) AI applications.



As a Senior ML Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to create a more cohesive, integrated, and managed AI development life cycle to enable the building and maintenance of our AI systems. Our teams make extensive use of open source technologies such as, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, KServe, Argo, Buildpacks, and other cloud-native MLOps technologies. From technical governance to upstream collaboration, we are committed to enhancing the impact and sustainability of open source.



Join the AI Group as a Senior ML Platform Engineer and you will have the opportunity to:


Architect, build, and diagnose multi-tenant AI platform systems
Work closely with AI application teams to design seamless workflows for continuous model training, inference, and monitoring
Work with AI experts to understand workflows, pinpoint, and resolve inefficiencies, and to inform the next set of features for the platforms
Collaborate with open-source communities and AI application teams to build a cohesive MLOps experience
Design CI/CD automation frameworks that incorporate regulatory requirements
Develop cloud-native deployment patterns for AI systems across environments
Troubleshoot and debug user issues
Provide operational and user-facing documentation



We are looking for a Senior ML Platform Engineer with:


Proven years of experience working with an object-oriented programming language (Python, Go, etc.)
Experience designing cloud-native, distributed platforms
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Argo, and container orchestration technologies
Previous experience with modern CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows
Familiarity with implementing automation for model development lifecycles
A proactive mentality and ability to collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and management
A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field of study or equivalent work experience
An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
