BauWatch is Europees marktleider in tijdelijke beveiligingsoplossingen. Met onze technologie helpen we bedrijven hun locaties veilig te houden. Van bouwplaatsen tot industriële terreinen. We leveren een totaaloplossing zodat klanten zich kunnen focussen op hun eigen werk.

Data & AI Specialist

London sunday

Job Description

About Us

sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.

About The Role

As sunday's Data & AI Specialist, you’ll be the go-to data and AI powerhouse for the CEO Office, a tight-knit team made up of the CEO, Chief of Staff, Entrepreneur in Residence, and CEO Office Associate, all working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation. This isn't a role for someone who runs reports and waits for the next brief. You’ll be the person who sees (or finds) a business problem, build the data story behind it, design an AI-powered solution, ship it, and scale it. You’ll be shaping how sunday thinks about AI at the company level, and driving us to become a genuinely AI-native company. You’ll report directly to Oscar, our Chief of Staff, and work hand-in-hand with the CEO Office to tackle sunday's most critical challenges, from improving adoption rates to accelerating sales velocity. This role is open as an end-of-studies internship or a full‑time junior position. US‑based candidates can join under a VIE contract. The best performers will have the opportunity to build and lead sunday's AI team as it grows. Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the CEO Office's analytical backbone: build dashboards on Metabase or Salesforce, pull data, and run ad‑hoc analyses on demand: fast, accurate, and always actionable.
  • Drive sunday's AI strategy: scout the competitive landscape, identify AI‑native processes we should implement, and think like a founder building a company around AI, not a consultant advising one.
  • Educate the CEO Office on AI and data: make complex topics clear and actionable for Victor and the team, from model developments to the tools we should be using right now.
  • Connect data to business problems: work across adoption, sales velocity, and operational efficiency to identify where AI‑powered insight can move the needle most.
  • Build end‑to‑end solutions: when you spot a problem, don't flag it, fix it. Vibe‑code a solution from scratch, test it, and scale it when validated.
  • Iterate fast, break things, innovate: test ideas quickly, learn from what doesn't work, and never let perfect be the enemy of progress.
About You
  • Strong command of SQL, Python, Looker, Metabase, and ideally Salesforce; you build dashboards and structured data outputs without needing help.
  • Comfortable with AI coding tools like Cursor, you build solutions end‑to‑end, autonomously, from idea to shipped product.
  • You seek granular insights: when something is off, your first reflex is to dive deeper, not summarize.
  • You are deeply entrepreneurial: you see a problem and your instinct is to fix it, not report it.
  • You have a relentless bias for action, you move fast, follow through, and get things done without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • You push through resistance: you're energized by the challenge of bringing AI thinking to people who are skeptical or not yet AI‑native.
Nice‑to‑haves
  • Prior experience in a startup, high‑growth environment, AI.
  • Exposure to the hospitality or restaurant tech industry.
  • Interest in competitive intelligence or product strategy.
What We Offer

London, United Kingdom or United States (VIE).

  • VIE compensation package
  • Great London or NYC office with flexible remote working
  • Health coverage (auto‑enrolled)
Recruitment Process
  • Intro call with Oscar: 30‑minute conversation to learn about your background and motivations.
  • Fit interview with Mathilde: a deeper conversation about who you are, how you think, and how you work.
  • Manager interview with Victor: meet the CEO directly and discuss the role's vision, stakes, and challenges.
  • Technical case study: a hands‑on exercise assessed by the Tech Team to evaluate your data and AI capabilities.

sunday is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, sex, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, gender, ethnicity, religion, national origin, ancestry, nationality, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, genetic information, or on any other basis prohibited by law (except where an attribute is a bona fide occupational qualification).

Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect - Database, Data & AI Specialist

London Amazon

Job Description

Description
Are you passionate about building applications with NoSQL databases? Amazon Web Services is looking for an experienced NoSQL Solutions Architect to work directly with AWS customers to design cloud-based NoSQL solutions using Amazon DynamoDB, a scalable and highly available serverless NoSQL database, designed for mission-critical applications. You will get a chance to work with some of the most prominent startups, as well as some of the largest enterprises, to help them architect scalable NoSQL solutions using Amazon DynamoDB.
You will be able to dive deep into the details of customer problems, work with the internal AWS service teams, to create solutions that solve customer needs. You will partner with AWS sales, business development, solutions architecture, and product teams to develop the internal expertise needed to grow DynamoDB-related revenue.
Key job responsibilities
· Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help customers learn about and use DynamoDB.
· Provide definitive guidance for customers in choosing the right database services and approaches.
· Be a trusted collaborator for the DynamoDB service team as the voice of the customer for defining and prioritizing service features.
· Lead enablement by training Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants, and Technical Account Managers.
· Capture and share best-practice knowledge with customers and the worldwide AWS solutions architect community.
· Contribute to the AWS Database Blog, service documentation, and reference architectures.
· Present at industry events to educate customers and evangelize AWS and DynamoDB.
A day in the life
As a DynamoDB Specialist Solutions Architect, you work alongside a team of NoSQL specialists spanning DocumentDB, Neptune, Keyspaces, ElastiCache, and MemoryDB. Together, you help
customers design purpose-built database architectures - and increasingly, that means powering the next generation of agentic AI applications.
Your work centers on customer engagements where DynamoDB plays a critical role in modern architectures. You might spend part of your day designing a session and memory store for an
autonomous AI agent framework - ensuring conversation state, tool-use history, and retrieval context persist at scale with single-digit millisecond latency. You collaborate with your
Neptune colleague on the knowledge graph layer while you own the fast-access transactional tier that keeps agents responsive and stateful.
Other engagements are just as varied. One customer needs a multi-tenant SaaS platform with complex access patterns. Another is building an event-driven pipeline where DynamoDB Streams
feed downstream AI orchestration. In each case, you design partition strategies, define GSI patterns, and articulate why DynamoDB fits this part of the architecture while a different
NoSQL engine serves another.
You also translate deep technical expertise into broader impact - building reference architectures, presenting to engineering leadership, and contributing to internal enablement across
the specialist team. You share patterns across database boundaries, offering partition key insights to a Keyspaces engagement or reviewing a DocumentDB schema with fresh eyes.
The common thread is helping customers choose the right database for each workload, use it well, and build architectures ready for what comes next - whether that's agentic AI, real-time
personalization, or massive-scale IoT.
About the team
Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters
globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, conferences. Amazon's culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and
earn trust.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
Amazon is an equal opportunities employer. We believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We make recruiting decisions based on your experience and skills. We value your passion to discover, invent, simplify and build. Protecting your privacy and the security of your data is a longstanding top priority for Amazon. Please consult our Privacy Notice ( ) to know more about how we collect, use and transfer the personal data of our candidates.
Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
