Key Responsibilities:
  • Control air traffic in assigned airspace, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor aircraft movements using radar and other surveillance systems.
  • Communicate with pilots and ground personnel via radio and other systems.
  • Implement traffic flow management measures to prevent congestion.
  • Coordinate with other air traffic control units and airport operations.
  • Identify and resolve potential conflicts between aircraft.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of aviation regulations and procedures.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and abnormal situations.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Air Traffic Controller Licence and relevant ratings.
  • Extensive experience in air traffic control operations.
  • Proven ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, concentration, and situational awareness skills.
  • Strong understanding of aviation principles and meteorology.
  • Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Medical certification as required for air traffic controllers.
