About the Role
As Airport Operations Manager – Customer Engagement, you are key in identifying our customer requirements and needs to develop cohesive plans to improve the service we provide at Heathrow to Emirates. Therefore, you will have strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills, whilst you will be comfortable working with teams across the business, building a strong relationship with stakeholders from Exec to Frontline.
Your main responsibility will be to understand the current service level and develop and implement ways to improve. You will represent the voice of Addison Lee and set the tone for a customer-focused, thoughtful environment.#

Requirements
Main AccountabilitiesMonitor KPIs and conduct annual performance reviews.
Create and review staff rotas, manage holiday entitlements and sick leave, and liaise with HR.
Oversee day-to-day operational activities.
Develop strategies and set goals to drive business growth.
Manage budgets and optimise expenses.
Establish and maintain policies and processes.
Ensure employees perform effectively and are supported in their professional development.
Lead recruitment and oversee onboarding and training of new staff.
Manage customer queries, feedback, and complaints, and address them in scheduled meetings.
Attend weekly and monthly meetings with Emirates.

This is a full-throttle, fast-paced F&B leadership role in a unique environment – one that never sleeps. Think lounges, café bars, restaurants and grab-and-go all under one roof, serving thousands of passengers every day.
The job? Overseeing day-to-day F&B operations across the terminal. Rota management, stock control, P&L, colleague development, standards, compliance – it’s yours. You’ll lead from the front, roll your sleeves up when needed, and coach a team to deliver a brilliant experience on every shift. Working with a powerhouse of Head of F&B, this is a huge opportunity to learn from the best and with an injection of investment this role will organically grow.
Please note this role include early mornings, lates, weekends and bank holidays – because that’s when the airport runs, and this team keeps it moving – you ideally need to be a short commute away.

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Security Officers to join a well-respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport. This role is open to applicants who have no previous security experience but have a genuine interest in aviation, customer service and security.
All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. There is on-site mentoring and clear career pathways leading to specialist management roles within our team, so think big!
Please note:
- Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
What’s on offer:
- Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour.
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 2 off
- Early shifts: 10 hours Starting between 03:30 - 04:30 and finishing between 13:30 - 14:30
- Late shifts: 10 hours Starting between 12:30 - 13:30 and finishing between 22:30 - 23:30
- 40 hours per week.
- Weekly pay (every Friday).
- Temp to Perm (performance based).
- Free staff car parking.

Key Duties:
- Using equipment and manual search techniques to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken into secure airport areas.
- Carrying out regular patrols around airside and landside locations, access control, and passenger and x-ray screening.
- Attending to and investigating reports of incidents.
- Completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction at all times.
Requirements:
- A positive, customer-centric attitude with a genuine desire to create a pleasant experience for all airport visitors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and aid in stressful situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to effectively identify potential security risks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and adhere to strict security protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine security tasks.

- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following their interview in line with CAA requirements.
