This is a senior appointment with full responsibility for setting up and running the warehouse operation. The role offers the chance to shape processes from the ground up, build the team, and develop contracts to drive growth.

The Warehouse Operations Director will lead the implementation, and day-to-day running of the new warehouse. Role : Warehouse Operations Manager - E-Commerce / Retail Logistics
Location : Rotherham
Salary : 45,000 - 50,000
Shift: Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 17:30

Our client, a fast-growing E-Commerce Logistics business, is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Operations Manager to take full ownership of operations at their Rotherham site. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to join a forward-thinking organisation and make a significant impact on its continued growth.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading site-wide operations across warehousing, fulfilment, and distribution.
  • Driving operational performance, safety, service quality, and profitability.
  • Developing and motivating a high-performing team.
  • Delivering process improvements and embedding operational best practice.
  • Aligning site activity with the overall business strategy

Candidate Profile

  • Strong leadership experience in logistics, fulfilment or e-commerce operations.
  • 5+ Years experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment.
  • A commercial mindset with a track record of delivering cost efficiencies without compromising service.
  • Proven success in scaling operations and leading change.
  • Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
