Excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst/Financial controller to join a rapidly growing business in West London, where you will play a key role from day one within the key data and financial elements of the business.

This company deals with a high volume of PPI and compensation claims, being able to provide results for clients that most claims companies struggle to achieve. They are a very exciting, dynamic and growing business and now require a Financial Analyst with management accounting experience to help them achieve their desired results and expansion plans.

In this role, you will be working with the CEO using your data knowledge to provide presentations, work with cash flows, data modelling and provide feedback on where the company can improve their efficiencies. You will use tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel and need to understand and provide support with the key company accounts.

About The Role

As we continue to grow globally, we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Doctify team and play a key role in supporting both the finance team and the wider global teams. You will be responsible for owning and managing the finance calendar at Doctify, including month end, pay runs, payroll, departmental reporting, and board reporting. 

You'll Be Responsible for

  • Being part of a team driving growth and efficiency at Doctify, making the finance team a centre of excellence in the company
  • Own and manage the finance calendar at Doctify. Month end, payruns, payroll, departmental reporting and board reporting
  • Continuously improve cash management processes
  • Assist in other finance or accounting projects as needed, including systems implementations and integrations
  • You are comfortable coordinating with other team leads to improve the categorisation and completeness of our expense reporting, supplier relationship and costs management 
  • International - work with our international accountants to oversee payroll, VAT returns and year end accounts
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to optimise forecasting, tracking and analysis of key performance indicators
  • Implement analytical tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance,
  • Drive for continuous improvement, analyse current processes, models and reports, making recommendations for improvement where possible

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred) with strong technical accounting knowledge
  • 1-3 years of post qualified experience, ideally gained in an audit role, with subsequent experience in industry or within a commercial finance team
  • Excellent understanding of bookkeeping, AR/AP processes, and full-cycle accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency working with tools including but not limited to, Excel, Google Suite, Xero, and expense applications, etc
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and multitask in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams
  • Detail oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our analytics & reporting agile team building innovative fintech products. You will leverage your expertise with financial analytics and financial data to inform strategic analysis and decision-making processes for a team focused on enhancing our B2B SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and designers to align the needs of our customers, services team, and sales team with product roadmaps.  Your role will span from ideation through to delivery
  • Work actively within cross-functional agile teams to ensure effective project management and product development
  • Maintain strong relationships with customer facing teams and participate in customer-facing meetings as required
  • Act as a subject matter expert on investment performance, attribution, and risk reporting for private and institutional clients.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for product features, enhancements, and client reporting capabilities, within the area of investment analytics
