Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of engaging digital learning materials for apprenticeship programs, including e-learning modules, videos, interactive exercises, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and apprenticeship trainers to translate learning needs into effective online content.
  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software to create visually appealing and interactive learning resources.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of courses on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conduct research on emerging trends in digital learning and instructional design to propose new ideas.
  • Assist in the evaluation of learning content effectiveness through user feedback and performance data.
  • Ensure all digital learning materials are accessible, inclusive, and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new learning initiatives.
  • Help in updating and revising existing digital learning content as needed.
  • Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of e-learning development, from storyboarding to final production.
  • Follow design guidelines and templates provided by the senior learning design team.
Qualifications:
  • A strong interest in digital learning, education, or e-learning development.
  • A minimum of GCSEs or A-Levels, with a strong academic record. A degree in a related field is beneficial but not essential.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • An aptitude for creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with guidance.
