Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Remote Technical Trainer to design and deliver engaging technical training programs for apprentices and trainees. This is a vital, fully remote role focused on imparting foundational and advanced technical knowledge across various disciplines to support the development of future professionals. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive training materials, facilitating online learning sessions, and assessing the progress of apprentices. The ideal candidate possesses strong subject matter expertise, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a passion for education and mentorship within a remote setting.
Key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in a specific technical field (e.g., IT, engineering, manufacturing, finance) with a proven ability to teach and explain complex concepts clearly. Experience in developing training content and delivering virtual instruction is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners remotely are paramount. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK while making a significant contribution to talent development and supporting our client's initiatives in the Leicester, Leicestershire, UK region and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating technical training curriculum and materials for apprenticeship programs, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions via online platforms, webinars, and virtual classrooms.
- Assessing apprentice performance through practical exercises, quizzes, and project evaluations.
- Providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance to apprentices to support their learning and development.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and industry professionals to ensure training content reflects current best practices and technological advancements.
- Managing the learning environment to foster active participation and a positive learning experience for all apprentices.
- Tracking apprentice progress and providing regular reports to management and stakeholders.
- Staying current with new technologies, industry trends, and adult learning methodologies.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the apprenticeship program's structure and delivery.
- Ensuring all training activities comply with relevant educational standards and company policies.
