Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured training aligned to:
CEMT & LBSE Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship Standards (Construction Equipment Maintenance Technician)
MOET & EMT Level 3 Apprenticeship Standards (Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician – Electric Power)
Support apprentices throughout their journey:
Assess E-portfolio assignments and provide constructive feedback
Conduct regular progress reviews and set development goals
Use blended learning techniques to create inclusive and engaging sessions
Maintain accurate records and contribute to programme reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to align training with business needs
Champion diversity and inclusion in recruitment and training
Continuously improve training delivery based on feedback and evaluation
Stay current with industry standards and maintain your own professional development
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance or a related field
Relevant engineering experience in construction, electric power, or similar
Caterpillar equipment knowledge, or the drive and aptitude to learn
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to deliver engaging, structured training
Understanding of Health & Safety and EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion)
Desirable:
Experience delivering apprenticeship or further education programmes
Assessor or teaching qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, Assessor Award) or willingness to achieve with support
Coaching or mentoring experience

The Role:
*Maintain quality across all educational delivery in line with professional standards, best practices, and regulatory frameworks for government-funded provision.

*Line manage a team of IQAs to ensure consistent and effective internal quality assurance processes across all programmes.
*Use a strong understanding of EIF requirements-particularly for apprenticeships-to drive quality and compliance.
*Possess in-depth experience with the quality assurance processes of regulated qualifications and awarding bodies.
*Foster high standards and continuous improvement, putting the learner experience at the centre of all activity.
*Lead quality system design and improvement initiatives while actively supporting professional development and team performance.
*Work cross-functionally to embed consistent, high-quality practices that enhance learner outcomes and overall organisational effectiveness.
