We're looking for a confident, proactive, and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our ambitious and fast-paced architectural design practice based in London.nThis isn't a traditional sales role — it's about building meaningful relationships and driving growth through strategic networking, lead generation and relationship management.nIdeally, you'll have a background in the design, architecture or engineering sectors and a natural ability to connect with people. Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing

- Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics

Key skills, experience + tasks will include:

  • Design, configuration + implementation of Fortinet and Cisco Nexus network solutions. 
  • li>Preparing Low-Level Design (LLD) and Configuration Design Documents for Cisco + Fortinet network equipment.
  • Writing accurate configuration scripts for: Fortinet SD-WAN, Fortinet Firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs), Cisco Nexus (data centre switching), Cisco WiFi / LAN, and Routing/Switching platforms.
  • Modifying configurations on current infrastructure to align with new designs, standards and policies.
  • Preparing configuration for new hardware, ensuring it meets security and operational standards prior to deployment.
  • Ensuring security policies, zones, VPNs, NAT and segmentation align with business needs + best practice.
  • Change implementation windows, including remote / on-site + validating post-change success.
  • Ensuring all changes adhere to enterprise and vendor standards, including access controls, performance baselines + naming conventions.
  • Documenting configurations, changes, procedures + sharing knowledge with operations + support teams.
  • Working Hours: 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri). Some out-of-hours / on call work may be required depending on project deadlines.
  • Candidates must be eligible to undergo the SC Security Clearance vetting process.

Network Design Architect needed with strong Fortinet  and Cisco Nexus solutions experience. Start ASAP in July 2025.

2 Month initial contract based on-site in Uxbridge  5 days/week. Strong chance of renewals. Must be willing to work full-time from the Uxbridge office.
