As an architectural technician, you will work closely with architects and the design team to create innovative and sustainable housing developments that meet the needs of our clients and the community.

The role includes input at various stages of the design process from feasibility layouts through to planning applications. Key Attributes & Skills Needed.

- Proficient in AutoCAD/REVIT.
- Previous experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch-Up etc.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

If you have 3 + years of experience within the UK residential sector, particularly in planning stages of projects for developer clients and regional housebuilders, have experience working and delivering across the planning stages of large scale residential projects then this could be a great opportunity to progress your career with an established and reputable practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret client briefs and produce detailed masterplans and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with current building regulations and legislation.
- Work closely with the team to deliver residential, mixed-use developments and Urban design projects from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with developers and consultants, ensuring high technical standards are maintained across projects.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in residential or mixed-use projects with experience for developer clients or national housebuilders.
- Strong technical understanding of building regulations.
- Proven experience delivering through residential planning
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit - Essential
- Knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) and NDSS regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A genuine desire for career progression and commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

As Design Manager, you will:
- Manage and coordinate all design and draughting activities for multiple live projects
- Lead and mentor a team of draughtsmen, supporting their development and overseeing output quality
- Oversee drawing production using Tekla Structures and other CAD software
