We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Orchestral Arranger to join our dynamic virtual team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for transforming musical compositions into rich, compelling orchestral scores for a variety of projects, including film scores, video game soundtracks, and theatrical productions. Our client is at the forefront of digital entertainment and is looking for an individual who can translate artistic vision into sonic masterpieces. You will work closely with composers, directors, and music producers to ensure the final arrangements meet the highest standards of quality and artistic integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt and arrange existing musical material for full orchestra, considering instrumental capabilities and ensemble balance.
  • Create original orchestral arrangements from scratch based on provided harmonic and melodic ideas.
  • Develop detailed and accurate scores and parts for all orchestral instruments, adhering to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with music production teams to refine arrangements and address technical or artistic feedback.
  • Conduct virtual mock-ups and demos of arrangements using professional Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and notation software.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of orchestral instrumentation, voicings, and contemporary arranging techniques.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance the musical narrative and emotional impact of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an orchestral arranger, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of styles and applications.
  • Exceptional proficiency in music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.
  • Expertise in at least one major music notation software (e.g., Sibelius, Finale, Dorico) and a DAW (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase).
  • A strong understanding of the music production process, especially within the entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate musical concepts clearly in a remote environment.
  • A degree in Music Composition, Orchestration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for music and a commitment to continuous learning and artistic growth.
