- Handle the packing and shipping of artworks as required.
- Maintain inventory records and condition reports for artworks.
- Assist with social media updates and website content, promoting upcoming exhibitions and events.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to gallery equipment or visitor services.
- Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and professional presentation of the gallery.
- Support fundraising activities and donor relations.
- Manage gallery shop inventory and sales.
- A degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Curatorial Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in an art gallery, museum, or arts organization is highly desirable.
- A strong passion for and knowledge of contemporary art.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends for events.
