Our client is looking for assembly/process operators, working as part of a team manufacturing products, checking and packing products, also assembly and/or packing of other products as required. 

Working Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week.

Duties will include:-

  • Working on the dispensing line
  • li>Reconciliation of batch numbers
  • Assembly, bagging and boxing of products
  • General cleaning duties
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be capable of following Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • A reasonable standard of numeracy is required.
  • Accurate record keeping is essential.
  • Lifting and carry moderate weights.
  • Good eyesight and manual dexterity is essential.

Training will be given in a variety of areas.  The rate of pay includes shift allowance, shift hours are day time, but will cover every other weekend.

Rate: 19.59/hr - rising to 20.28/hr once fully trained

PAYE - accrue 25 days holiday per annum + bank holidays

Duration: 6 months rolling contract

Working within a team of final assembly and test fitters, building thermal management heat exchangers for various customers within the aerospace industry. The role will require working to high standards using standard operating procedures, compliance to production acceptance testing, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly and testing of heat exchangers including pressure relief valves
  2. Hydraulic and pneumatic pressure testing of various units using air under water tanks and proof pressure rigs
  3. Fluid flow testing and cleanliness testing of heat exchangers
  4. Problem solving and maintaining good house keeping in line with HSE procedures

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Reporting unsafe conditions, maintaining a safe working environment.
  2. Working within the business quality engineering standards, ensuring all non-conformances are reported
  3. Confirming all operations on SAP system to record efficiency and ensure daily targets are achieved in line with day by the hour targets
  4. Visual inspection
  5. TPM , 5 S+ activities, and participation in Kaizen events
