About the Role
As a Production Manager, you'll be at the heart of live event execution - managing a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional production services, and ensuring projects run smoothly from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and internal departments to exceed expectations while maintaining tight control over timelines, budgets, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Attend client meetings to scope and define event requirements
- Create accurate quotations and detailed proposal documents
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, including technical drawings, design, and scenic specifications
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure appropriate support
- Oversee on-site event delivery and crew management
- Maintain cost control across multiple projects
- Produce project documentation (e.g. Health & Safety, floorplans, invoicing support)
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to identify new business opportunities
- Ensure seamless communication across departments to maintain high service levels
About You
You're an experienced production professional with a passion for live events and a proven ability to deliver complex projects. You bring technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a client-first approach to everything you do.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years in a similar production management role
- Strong technical production knowledge across Audio, Video, Lighting, and LED
- Familiarity with scenic production and staging workflows
- Proficiency in basic CAD software (Vectorworks preferred)
- Experience with rental management systems
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Budget management and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage on-site crews and uphold health and safety standards
The role will be based in and around London - need to be commutable to S.W London and Reading area. Driving is an advantage.
