An opportunity has arisen for an Audio Visual Technician to join a progressive technology provider specialising in network infrastructure, electrical systems, and AV communication solutions.

As an Audio Visual Technician , you will be installing and supporting audio visual and video conferencing solutions for a range of clients.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits. This is a field-based role involving installations at customer sites, with some overnight stays required

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the integration of CCTV and access control technologies.
• Organise client project data, such as IPs, configurations, drawings, and site details into designated cloud storage folders.
• Conducting routine maintenance, diagnostics and system repairs as needed
• Handle project documentation and communication efficiently from initiation to completion.
• Supporting general engineering tasks and attending team meetings when required
• Following PPE and safety procedures as set out by internal policies
• Using cloud-based systems to store and manage project documentation and configurations
• Providing insight into budget-friendly solutions that meet client requirements

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an Audio Visual Technician, AV Technician, Audio Visual Engineer, AV Engineer, CCTV Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Installation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in AV installations, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety practices.
• A testing and verification qualification would be desirable.
• Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).

Our client is looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Technician/Venue Technician.Reporting to the Head of Technicians, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audiovisual services to various venues across the North-West. This position requires technical experti.

• Oversee the technical aspects of audio-visual production for live events, virtual events, and digital media projects.
• Manage, set up, operate, and maintain professional audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, PA systems, and effects processors.
• Operate and manage video systems, including cameras, switchers, projectors, LED screens, and playback devices.
• Implement and manage lighting control systems and associated equipment.
• Oversee live streaming and broadcast operations, ensuring high-quality audio and video delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment and systems promptly and efficiently.
• Develop and manage technical riders and specifications for events.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to AV technicians and event crews in a remote or on-site capacity as needed.
• Ensure all AV equipment is maintained, stored, and managed effectively.
• Stay current with emerging AV technologies, software, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, artists, and other stakeholders to achieve creative vision.
• Manage AV project timelines and budgets effectively.

• Significant experience in audio-visual technical roles, with a proven track record in live events and/or broadcast.
• Expertise in audio engineering and mixing, with a deep understanding of signal flow and acoustics.
• Proficiency with a range of professional audio consoles (digital and analog) and associated equipment.
• Strong experience with video production systems, including switching, playback, and display technologies.
• Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., DMX) and relevant equipment.
• Experience with live streaming platforms and video encoding technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex AV systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced BIM Technician to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced BIM Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Actively assist with the development of proAV’s BIM strategy with the senior technical manager and senior BIM technician, including setup of templates, drawing sheet borders and splash screen.
li>Setup the Revit model with the correct origin and orientation given in the BEP.
• Produce BIM models to Level of detail (LOD) and Information (LOI) as per the project BEP.
• Follow the file naming and object naming convention as per the project BEP.
• Generate clash reports using the approved project software, be this Navisworks, Revizto or similar.
• Review clashes with project lead designer and assist with the coordination and resolution process to produce a clash free model.
• Export drawing sheets for our preliminary and construction information release dates in line with the project programme and/or TIDP.
• Review sheets with the lead designer and update as per internal comments and comments received through the project CDE.
• Share the BIM models to the project CDE in the agreed formats and timeframes as per the project BEP.
• Produce drawings and schedules as required to assist with the capture of asset data as part of the project BEP and AIR.
• Setup and input the information for the specific COBie or other asset data fields as identified in the project BEP and AIR.
• Produce as-built model and drawings for handover and incorporation into the project O&M manual.
