An opportunity has arisen for an Audio Visual Technician to join a progressive technology provider specialising in network infrastructure, electrical systems, and AV communication solutions.

As an Audio Visual Technician , you will be installing and supporting audio visual and video conferencing solutions for a range of clients.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the integration of CCTV and access control technologies.
• Organise client project data, such as IPs, configurations, drawings, and site details into designated cloud storage folders.
• Conducting routine maintenance, diagnostics and system repairs as needed
• Handle project documentation and communication efficiently from initiation to completion.
• Supporting general engineering tasks and attending team meetings when required
• Following PPE and safety procedures as set out by internal policies
• Using cloud-based systems to store and manage project documentation and configurations
• Providing insight into budget-friendly solutions that meet client requirements

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an Audio Visual Technician, AV Technician, Audio Visual Engineer, AV Engineer, CCTV Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Installation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in AV installations, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety practices.
• A testing and verification qualification would be desirable.
• Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).

• Oversee the technical aspects of audio-visual production for live events, virtual events, and digital media projects.
• Manage, set up, operate, and maintain professional audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, PA systems, and effects processors.
• Operate and manage video systems, including cameras, switchers, projectors, LED screens, and playback devices.
• Implement and manage lighting control systems and associated equipment.
• Oversee live streaming and broadcast operations, ensuring high-quality audio and video delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced BIM Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Actively assist with the development of proAV’s BIM strategy with the senior technical manager and senior BIM technician, including setup of templates, drawing sheet borders and splash screen.
li>Setup the Revit model with the correct origin and orientation given in the BEP.
• Produce BIM models to Level of detail (LOD) and Information (LOI) as per the project BEP.
• Follow the file naming and object naming convention as per the project BEP.
• Generate clash reports using the approved project software, be this Navisworks, Revizto or similar.
• Review clashes with project lead designer and assist with the coordination and resolution process to produce a clash free model.
• Export drawing sheets for our preliminary and construction information release dates in line with the project programme and/or TIDP.
• Review sheets with the lead designer and update as per internal comments and comments received through the project CDE.
• Share the BIM models to the project CDE in the agreed formats and timeframes as per the project BEP.
• Produce drawings and schedules as required to assist with the capture of asset data as part of the project BEP and AIR.
• Setup and input the information for the specific COBie or other asset data fields as identified in the project BEP and AIR.
• Produce as-built model and drawings for handover and incorporation into the project O&M manual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage all AV Event requests via client booking portal

li>Direct & manage all onsite events within large Presentation & Event spaces

• Provide white glove service that manages technical logistics for large complex events, Town halls, special events and VIP’s video meetings

< i>Conduct planning meetings with client event organisers to ensure the correct technology is being used, leading to successful meetings/events

• Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting & requirements equipment / meeting room set ups as required

• Devise, document, maintain and implement operating procedures for key event spaces

• Mentor AV Technicians to cover / support events as required

• Conduct client debrief, obtaining customer feedback and discuss areas for continual improvement

• Work with vendors for AV rental and staging of events (as required)

• Work closely with offsite events team to ensure all event requirements are captured and managed effectively for both onsite and offsite events throughout as required

• Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a second / third line basis

• Ability to provide systems work around in the event of failures

• Ensure fault tickets are logged via client ticketing portal and resolved within SLA.

• Support / manage software / firmware updates once instructed / change control

• Ensure all equipment faults and requests are reported via onsite procedures

• Manage equipment repairs within key event spaces in collaboration with technical manager and implement critical spares as required

Studio:

• Setup, testing, operation, and break down of Studio equipment; (e.g. cameras, audio and vision mixing equipment, microphones, studio lighting.

• Provide advice and support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on studio equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate

• Support and consider the longer term strategic plans for the studio and how it supports the business internally and externally

• Act and advise as a production consultant for any key larger events – such as company results or externally beneficial events

< i>Work closely with client teams / primary stakeholders to support all filming and editing requests.

• Support and advise on the successful creation and delivery of any filming sessions – whether internal, external, recorded or live.

< i>Edit, upload and deliver content in a variety of ways including onto the company content management system and externally using approved mechanisms as appropriate

• Effectively manage the studio time (using specific software?)to ensure all filming and editing requests can be handled and delivered in a timely fashion.

• Troubleshoot studio related technology issues (inc cameras, control systems, lighting, audio and screens) to complete resolution when issues occur

Experience and Qualifications:
