Strategic Account Executive Cambridge / WFH to £80k + commission

Do you have experience of selling vehicle simulation, automotive software and SaaS solutions?

You could be progressing your career in an impactful Strategic Account Executive at a highly successful and scaling SaaS tech company, the core product is an AI and Machine Learning platform that is used within the automotive sector for a range of purposes e.g. engine calibration, performance, in-car navigation and entertainment.

As a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth across Europe's leading automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and off-highway / on-highway engine / EV manufacturers. You'll employ a consultative sales approach across new business development to identify, qualify and close new clients, managing the full sales cycle in conjunction with Solution Consultants and Services teams to design the proof-of-concept (PoC) that demonstrate tangible business value.

You'll manage stakeholders across the client business, from technical teams to senior executives and collaborate with Product and Marketing teams internally to provide structured feedback on product development.

Typically you'll be working on large, long term, strategic sales and partnerships as well as expanding existing client relationships using the LAER methodology.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Cambridge once or twice, the office is close to the station and has an onsite gym with 24 hour access. Please note you will also be required to travel to clients across Europe (all expenses paid).

About you:

  • You have proven sales experience within a similar role at a SaaS technology provider within the automotive sector
  • You have experience of writing proposals, negotiating complex contracts and closing seven-figure deals
  • You have advanced communication and relationship building skills, able to influence key decision makers across technology and executive leadership teams
  • You're able to prioritise effectively and work independently
  • You are degree educated in a STEM discipline and have a good grasp of technology / SaaS
