  • Design, develop, and implement core algorithms for autonomous driving systems, including perception, planning, and control.
  • Integrate various hardware and software modules to create robust and reliable AV systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans for simulation and real-world vehicle testing, analysing results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and AI specialists, in a remote setting.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the definition of system requirements and architecture for future AV platforms.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and automotive technology.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for designs, code, and test procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing complex systems, with a focus on autonomous vehicles, robotics, AI, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with experience in relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., ROS, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
  • Strong understanding of core AV technologies such as sensor fusion, object detection, path planning, and control algorithms.
  • Experience with simulation tools and methodologies for AV development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective remote teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality results in a fully remote environment.
