  • Develop and refine path planning and motion control strategies for safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Contribute to the architecture and development of the overall autonomous driving software stack.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing and validation plans, including simulation and on-road testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, ML, safety) to integrate and deploy autonomous features.
  • Analyse large datasets from vehicle logs and simulations to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in autonomous driving and artificial intelligence.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Ensure all software developed adheres to strict safety standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on autonomous systems. Proven experience in developing and deploying algorithms for perception, planning, or control in real-world autonomous systems is essential. Proficiency in C++ and Python, along with experience using relevant frameworks (e.g., ROS, TensorFlow, PyTorch), is required. You should have a solid understanding of software engineering principles and experience with version control (Git). Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication are key for this role within a distributed team.
