Our client is a small yet growing business who repair, maintain and refurbish vintage aircraft. Operating just south of Cambridge, they have need to grow thier enigneering team and would like to bring on an extra maintenance engineer to support repairs on planes.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work within a maintenance team of 8
- Carry out maintenance on aircraft systems such as engines, hydraulics and air systems
- Make repairs to older/vintage aircraft
- Carry out sheet metal repairs at times
- Machining tasks in the CNC workshop (if you have the experience)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience maintaining aircraft systems
- Ideally experience with older/ vintage aircraft
- CNC/manual machining experience (desirable)
- Sheet metal experience (desirable)

Reporting into the Production Manager, the Bay Manager is directly responsible for the management of Base Maintenance functions contained within the organisation's approval.
Main responsibilities:
- To ensure that contracted customer requirements are met at all times, and to ensure that full compliance with the contracted customer requirements are included as part of the final CRS process conducted prior to CRS Issue.
- Ensures an efficient and cost-effective service during the overhaul/repair of the aircraft while complying with airworthiness and statutory requirements.

- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that company and customer property is adequately housed, secured and maintained.

- Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part 145, Part 147, Part 66, Part 21, Part M)
- Holds UK and/or EASA Part 66 B and C Licence approval on one or more of our types.
- License holder must have the ability to obtain CRS approval as required for CRS duties on aircraft types.
- Experience managing teams within a Part 145 base maintenance environment.

We are currently recruiting for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to be based in one of four new operating bases in British Columbia (Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince Rupert, and Prince George). All AMEs will be responsible to Crew Chief for the completion of the maintenance and repair tasks assigned to them.
In this role, you will:
Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft.Create and complete task cards and work packs in WinAir.Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities that were conducted.Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for tasks/jobs.Maintain a clean and productive work area.Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards).Work efficiently alone and as part of a team.Read, understand, and adhere to the Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM.Utilize the Company reporting system to report any hazard, incident, or accident.Enter labour in the labour tracking system accurately for all tasks performed.Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines.Other duties as assigned.
