Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Vintage & General Aviation
Salary: Up to 40,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Holidays: 29 days including bank holidays
Location: Cambridge
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work with unique and historic aircraft in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.
About the Role
You will play a vital part in maintaining and operating a diverse fleet, with a focus on vintage and piston-powered aircraft. Flexibility is key, as operational demands can change at short notice, requiring quick thinking and the ability to adapt.
What We're Looking For
Experience in aviation maintenance, ideally with vintage or general aviation aircraft.
Candidates with backgrounds in classic car restoration or similar precision engineering fields will also be considered.
Strong organisational skills and a meticulous approach to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional hangar environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and consistently exceed customer expectations.
A natural problem solver who enjoys rising to engineering challenges.
Willingness to provide occasional weekend cover as part of the engineering schedule.
