Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical processes for API manufacturing.
  • Design and execute experimental plans to investigate process variables and identify critical parameters.
  • Utilize Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies for efficient process optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in process development.
  • Characterize intermediates and final products to ensure quality and purity.
  • Collaborate with analytical teams to develop and validate analytical methods.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists and technicians in the laboratory.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and GMP regulations.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical process development.
  • Extensive knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and process scale-up.
  • Experience with GMP manufacturing environments and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, MS, NMR).
  • Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong scientific writing and presentation abilities.
