Role location:

Role structure:
Reporting to the Head of PMO with no direct reports. The role requires extensive cross functional collaboration.
Role purpose:
To support the scoping, structuring & execution of projects to support new initiatives & business processes cross functionally, ensuring alignment with our Group strategy
Role responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
- Structure & manage departmental and strategic portfolios
- Generate and maintain clear and concise status reporting & visibility to stakeholders
- Generate condensed topline updates, when required, to senior management
Project support
- Champion a culture of change across all functions and drive business development through project management methodologies
- Utilise a structured project approach to set business project managers up for success. This includes project charter builds, workplan generation & progress governance
- Support and drive continuous improvement projects across all functions
- Support the coordination of collaborative projects within the business
Project management process development
- Where identified, develop a project management process within functions aligned to the PMO (eg. NPD)
- Support the functions on key projects to deliver on the strategy
- Support the functions to enhance the overall process where required
Strategic alignment
- Support project portfolio co-ordination aligned & underpinning our business strategy
- Support the governance of divisional strategy with clear functional project portfolio in place to deliver annual objectives

Requirements
- 4+ years experience within FMCG experience essential
- Exposure to project management & knowledge of project management techniques and tools required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Structured & logical approach
- Strong IT skills (eg. Teams, Excel & OneNote)
- Excellent negotiation & problem-solving skills
- Lean / Sigma training advantageous

Senior Mechanical Engineer - Duties
- Have responsibility for all aspects of assigned project work, and with a focus primarily on commercial, public sector and hospitality projects.
- Client facing on matters of both a commercial and technical nature.
- Take an active role in business development
- Support the senior leadership team in project planning and resource management
- Lead the mechanical design team in the coordination and delivery of individual projects and take an active role in the development of junior engineers
