**Business Context**
The London Corporate Banking Relationship Coverage team is an integral part of TD Securities, focused on delivering the Bank's wholesale products and services to our European client base. Our client base is predominantly investment grade European multinational corporations with significant links to North America. Our clients are broadly split between the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.
The Corporate Banking Relationship Coverage team centrally manages the client relationship end-to-end, catering to the client's needs and centrally coordinating across product teams to deliver TD's full suite of services with focus on lending, multi-currency Debt Capital Markets, Rates and FX solutions, commodity hedging, trade finance, securitization, and cash management.
**Position Overview**
The successful candidate will join the team as an Analyst, reporting into the Managing Director, and working closely with all members of the coverage team.
Principle responsibilities will include:
+ Supporting the senior bankers in identifying, analysing and securing new target clients where TD can develop a profitable business relationship, on a risk adjusted basis
+ Partnering with senior members of the Coverage team to provide overall relationship management support and client coverage at the Treasurer/ Treasury Manager level
+ Working with the Senior Bankers to develop and maintain relationships within the European banking market to raise the profile of TD
+ Coordinating product partners to develop product ideas and create marketing materials for presentations to clients
+ Ensuring relevant product groups have good access to each client to increase the level of ancillary business originated globally from corporate clients
+ Responsibility for tracking sectoral trends and client news, researching and analysing industry and market data for credit and origination purposes
+ Attending client meetings and calls, leading meeting prep, filing call reports, and coordinating action items
+ Responsibility for the production of deal related credit memorandums and delivering the banks pricing approval process
+ Liaising with Credit Management to ensure that key risks on corporate transactions are identified, evaluated, and documented in an accurate and timely manner
+ Responsibility for ensuring the deal process is adhered to for transactions, including but not limited to ensuring KYC and AML are in place for all new transactions and updated in line with policy
+ Actively contribute to the business planning and strategic development of TD's European Corporate Banking team
+ Prepare and assist with the provision of management reports and presentations required on a regular and an ad hoc basis
+ Demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviours in alignment with TD policies and practices
Qualifications:
+ Some background of relevant experience in an investment banking or corporate banking graduate program, relationship coverage team, or a relevant product team is advantageous.
+ Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent - studying towards CFA, ACT or an accounting designation is considered an asset.
+ Sound understanding of credit and wholesale banking products. Experience with Large/Global Corporate clients and lending/capital markets products desirable.
+ Strong planning, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong business and financial analytical skills.
+ Sound knowledge of MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
+ Strong work ethic and commitment to business goals and high professional standards.
+ Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
To act as an SME for the Loans portfolio handled by the Loans Middle Office. To ensure that facilities under the control and management of LMO are maintained accurately within the systems and controls available. Ensuring all facilities can be serviced and all drawings have been processed in a timely manner in accordance with MUFG policies (credit approvals, legal framework, current regulatory and compliance requirement) and procedures.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Completion of daily obligations in accordance with Facility Agreements, Head Office rules, and regulations.
Responsible for the accurate input of work, and verification of transactions.
Provide assistance, as requested, to line management in the control of daily work flows to ensure timely completion of daily obligations.

Daily monitoring of the triggers throughout the loan lifecycle via the system/diary notes to ensure the loan is serviced accordingly

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
To act as an SME for the Loans portfolio handled by the Loans Middle Office. To ensure that facilities under the control and management of LMO are maintained accurately within the systems and controls available. Ensuring all facilities can be serviced and all drawings have been processed in a timely manner in accordance with MUFG policies (credit approvals, legal framework, current regulatory and compliance requirement) and procedures.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Essential Functions:**
Completion of daily obligations in accordance with Facility Agreements, Head Office rules, and regulations.
Responsible for the accurate input of work, and verification of transactions.
Provide assistance, as requested, to line management in the control of daily work flows to ensure timely completion of daily obligations.
Co-ordinate across Operations to ensure the deal is processed in a timely manner.
Daily monitoring of the triggers throughout the loan lifecycle via the system/diary notes to ensure the loan is serviced accordingly
Escalation to Line Management of any issues that may affect a particular facility or event.
Provide general support to facilitate the implementation of projects as and when necessary
Communicate and negotiate with a variety of Stakeholders, including Front Office, Lenders and Borrowers in order to administer events on a portfolio of loans.
Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.
Oversee the creation, or, give direction and guidance in the creation of control tools necessary to administer client facilities where the Banku2019s systems are considered inappropriate. This will ensure all transactions processed remain within the approved parameters and agreement of the facility.
Continually review and challenge processes and procedures to maximise efficiency and processes that allow highest possible facility usage with a view to maximising the revenue streams, in order to satisfy client and other stakeholderu2019s requirements.
Ensure the creation and flow of information is accurate and timely to enable Management and stakeholders to act appropriately.
Working with LMO Team Lead to achieve the short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals of the team
Responsible for working autonomously to resolve operational issues as they arise, and providing, where necessary, the implementation of preventative measures to avoid reoccurrence of incidents.
Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.
Operate as product specialist providing subject matter expertise where required.
Be at all times abreast and up to speed with market developments in relation to the product stream, and be instrumental in Change Management when required
