**About the role**

You will report to the UK&I General Manager, who adopts an inspirational leadership style that balances effective management with motivating team members to achieve their best. This role will be remote. This arrangement allows for flexibility while still fostering collaboration and camaraderie among team members.
**Your Role**
+ Lead and manage a high-performing sales team focused on the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance.
+ Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and meet pipeline generation goals.
+ Recruit, coach, and develop team members to enhance individual and team performance.
+ Foster a culture of success and accountability while inspiring the team to achieve business objectives.
+ Engage with clients to build relationships and secure new business opportunities.
+ Analyse market trends and adapt strategies to optimise performance and forecast accuracy.
+ Leverage a broad network of local executives to enhance sales efforts and drive customer success.
+ Establish clear expectations and conduct regular performance assessments to track team progress.
**What You Will Bring**
+ Proven track record in sales management within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team of 7+ sales-oriented employees.
+ Experience in solution-selling and building channels across multiple technologies.
+ In-depth understanding of financial services and experience with financial institutions.
+ Strong background in datacenter and application-led sales.
+ Excellent communication and persuasive skills, with a charismatic leadership style.
+ Proficient in sales processes and methodologies, particularly MEDDPIC.
+ 10+ years of management experience with a focus on driving team performance and customer success.
**Work Arrangement**
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

Your Role:

We are seeking a dynamic AI / Gen-AI Leader to drive our go-to-market strategy, engage with clients in the Financial Services sector, and generate new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in generative AI, agentic AI, and large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI’s GPT, LLaMA, Hugging Face models, and others . You will leverage these technologies to craft high-impact, AI-driven solutions tailored to the Banking, Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors .

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI and Gen-AI solutions in Financial Services, focusing on Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored AI solutions using generative and agentic AI frameworks.
  • Identify innovative use cases for generative and agentic AI, such as credit decisioning, fraud detection, personalized banking, claims processing, underwriting automation, and algorithmic trading.
  • Provide consulting on Gen-AI scalability, governance, prompt engineering, Gen-AI factory setup, and LLM fine-tuning.
  • Integrate advanced AI technologies using platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta’s LLaMA, and emerging multi-modal models.
  • Design and deploy autonomous agentic AI systems for financial applications, including self-optimizing models and automated compliance monitoring.
  • Represent Capgemini as an AI thought leader at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Demonstrate expertise in LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA) with practical implementations across financial domains.
  • Build scalable AI architectures using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate with Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to governance standards and financial regulations, with a focus on ethical and compliant deployment.

Your Profile:

  • Skilled in identifying and articulating AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI use cases in banking and insurance, including credit decisioning, claims processing, fraud detection, and personalized banking.
  • Proven ability to build compelling business cases and value models that highlight the tangible impact of AI solutions.
  • Strong experience across the full pre-sales cycle, including solution conceptualization, client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking and project leadership to drive AI initiatives from concept to deployment.
  • Experienced in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing AI teams across onshore and offshore locations.
  • Excellent client engagement skills, with a track record of working effectively with C-level stakeholders.
  • Holds a data science or STEM degree with a solid foundation in AI, ML, and advanced analytics.
  • Passionate about innovation and thought leadership in AI, consistently delivering creative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Technically proficient in LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, Gen AI factories, reusable AI assets, and integration with financial systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in client-facing roles, navigating complex environments, and driving AI adoption through strong stakeholder relationships.
