Our client is seeking Lean Integrator / Senior Project Manager for a role that covers both business and technology change.

You will coordinate dependencies between the Lab, stakeholders, platforms, Group Executive Functions and 3rd parties as part of complex and high-risk implementations.

This role covers both business and technology change.

Previous experience within Financial Services / Banking is highly desirable.

Proven experience in planning, tracking, road mapping

Locations: Halifax

Hybrid: 2 days in the office per week / 3 days working from home

This banking business are going through a large procurement transformation with an aim to simplifying procurement, by a new more traditional set up of categorised teams managing full end to procurement across their designated spend areas.

You'll be leading a team of Procurement managers tasked with taking strategic control of BPO, Digitalisation of process and banking operations.

Cultural fit is also a huge deciding factor when looking to hire this position - they want to keep their collaborative team based culture which everyone is bought in to, so being on board with this is a key trait.

Role and responsibilities:

Creation and executive approval of category strategies ensuring the true end to end cost picture, opportunities, risks and innovation are fully implemented
Deliver complex negotiations through the technical delivery of RFx's
market insight, thought leadership and knowledge to the business to execute industry leading commercial models demonstrating value creation capabilities.
Develop insightful benchmarking data to support and challenge business decisions.
Drive collaboration and stakeholder management at an executive level within the business and with external partners/suppliers.
Understanding procurement systems and generate channel strategy to promote the maximum efficient use of these
Proactively identify and lead opportunities for UK & Global negotiations

Experience and requirements:

Extensive leadership procurement experience in a financial services / banking organisation, specifically across banking operations.
Experience with large scale banking transformation
Worked in a regulated industry such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Professional Services (preferrable)
Private sector procurement experience, ideally working for a global business
Previous experience working on complex global projects, dealing with Tier 1 suppliers of significant values
Confident in engaging and influencing senior level stakeholders, and across various regions
A highly strategic mindset when approaching procurement, suppliers and business needs
Excellent communications skills when dealing with contacts in different cultures and countries
Able to adapt in a very fast paced, continuously changing environment
MCIPS qualified, nice to have but not essential
