- Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and reports.
- Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex projects.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in energy storage systems engineering, with a significant focus on design, development, and deployment.
- Deep understanding of various energy storage technologies (e.g., Li-ion, flow batteries, compressed air, pumped hydro) and their applications.
- Proven experience with power electronics, grid integration, and control systems for energy storage.
- Expertise in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSS/E, ETAP).
- Strong project management skills and experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of innovation and technical leadership.
- Familiarity with utility-scale energy markets and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.

The business design, build and operate renewable energy assets across the UK and are looking to add to the team due to an internal promotion.
The HV Commissioning Supervisor role comes with a salary up to 65,000 depending on experience, with a company car and excellent benefits. The role will involve a fair amount of travel to the client's sites, up and down the UK.

- Monitor, audit and ensure subcontractor compliance with RAMS, commissioning protocols and inspection and test plans
- Be a major influence in the smooth transition from commissioning to operations of each asset
- Ensure that all works are completed to the best standard and in line with Safe Systems at Work
- Travel around company sites when required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- At least a level 3 qualification in electrical installation
- 2391 test and inspection
- HV AP15 or equivalent is key
- HV switching experience
- Commissioning and supervisory experience in market
Personal skills
