• You will ideally have had some experience as a Sales Advisor. Ideally this will be gained from a fast-paced environment such as beauty, retail or FMCG.

• Ideally you will have experience in applying makeup – and knowing how to adapt your style to different customers with different needs.

• Conduct detailed pre-wedding consultations with clients (including virtual consultations).
• Develop personalised makeup looks based on client preferences, skin type, and event style.
• Advise clients on pre-wedding skincare and beauty preparations.
• Perform makeup trials and final application on the wedding day.
• Maintain a comprehensive portfolio of work.
• Manage booking schedules and client communication effectively.
• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Stay updated on current makeup trends and techniques.
• Potentially manage and coordinate freelance makeup artists for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other wedding professionals as needed.

• Professional certification or extensive experience in makeup artistry.
• Significant experience specifically in bridal and occasion makeup.
• A strong, high-quality portfolio demonstrating diverse bridal makeup skills.
• Excellent knowledge of makeup products, tools, and application techniques.
• Expertise in skincare relevant to makeup application.
• Exceptional client consultation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and creatively in a remote/client-facing capacity.
• Professional, punctual, and organised approach.
• Understanding of hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Passion for the bridal industry and client satisfaction.

• Conduct one-on-one virtual beauty consultations with clients via video conferencing platforms.
• Provide personalised makeup application advice, technique demonstrations, and product recommendations.
• Offer expert skincare consultations, identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate routines and products.
• Educate clients on current beauty trends and how to adapt them to their individual features.
• Perform virtual makeup tutorials and demonstrations tailored to client requests.
• Assist clients in selecting suitable products based on their skin type, tone, and preferences.
• Maintain detailed client records and consultation notes.
• Stay updated on new beauty products, trends, and techniques in the industry.
• Promote a positive and engaging client experience.
• Collaborate with the platform's content team on beauty tips and advice where applicable.
• Adhere to the platform's quality and service standards.

• Professional certification or significant experience as a Makeup Artist and/or Beauty Consultant.
• Proven ability to conduct effective client consultations and provide personalised advice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong knowledge of makeup products, application techniques, skincare, and current beauty trends.
• Comfortable and proficient with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Skype, Google Meet) and scheduling software.
• Ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere virtually.
• A passion for beauty and helping others feel confident.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK and reside within a timezone compatible with Glasgow, Scotland, UK for administrative coordination if needed.
• Own reliable internet connection and suitable technology for conducting remote consultations.
