In this role team working and independent working skills are equally important, as is the ability to adopt good working relationships and communicate well with others.

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Remote Food Service Supervisor to manage and oversee their catering operations remotely, serving clients in and around Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK . This fully remote role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of food service management, inventory control, and team leadership. You will be responsible for coordinating with on-site catering staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, managing supply chains, and maintaining exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise a team from a distance. You will utilize technology and communication platforms to monitor operations, track inventory, handle client inquiries, and resolve any operational issues that may arise. Key responsibilities include developing work schedules for on-site teams, managing food orders and deliveries, conducting virtual training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
