Unum UK are looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable Actuarial Reporting Analyst to join our Actuarial Reporting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and technical analyses in a collaborative and supportive environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering a wide range of actuarial reporting activities across US/UK GAAP and Solvency II frameworks. You will contribute to scenario and sensitivity analyses that inform both regulatory submissions and strategic business decisions. A key part of your role will involve communicating technical findings in an effective way, to a range of stakeholders.
**What will you bring?**
+ A 2:1 degree in a numerate subject, with 2 years+ experience (and/or past student member of Institute of Actuaries)
+ Experience working within an Actuarial function, ideally within Life Insurance, though backgrounds in Pensions or GI are also valued (Preferred)
+ May have worked in other reporting or analytical roles, but ideally have experience working alongside actuarial teams

The role
As an Investment Reporting Analyst, you will be immersed in projects that are core to the business and critical to the continued growth of the company. This role will provide critical analytical support to the Director of Finance on a project to enhance financial systems, streamline reporting, and strengthen planning analysis.
