The role
Reporting directly to the CSO, you will analyse, visualise and interpret discovery and targeted proteomics data, generating publication quality outputs for client reports, patent applications and peer-reviewed publications. You will contribute to streamlining and automating current processes/workflows (e.g. experimental design, data analysis), and conceptualise and build new ones. You will work within a talented scientific team with considerable autonomy and support the growth of the bioinformatics function at Inoviv.
Key responsibilities include:
● Analysing and visualising discovery and targeted proteomics datasets, generated on various LC-MS platforms, including DIA, DDA, TMT, MRM data from Thermo, SCIEX, Waters and other platforms.
● Conducting a variety of univariate and multivariate statistical analyses, including PCA, PLS-DA, Volcano plots, various linear and multiple regressions.
● Statistical modelling of clinical outcomes from large scale high resolution Mass Spectrometry clinical trial datasets.
● Producing publication quality outputs for client reports, patent applications and peer-reviewed publications.
● Interpreting the generated datasets in conjunction with publicly available data, conducting further insight analysis.
● Streamlining and automating current experimental design and data analysis processes and workflows, typically in Python or R.
● Maintaining and innovating internal tools and data structures.
● Communication of key findings and highly complex analyses to a variety of audiences.

A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
